Practice to Win Rules
The prize
Each competition offers one prize of $50 worth of SOL. The amount of SOL is calculated from the price at payout, so it is not a fixed number of SOL.
If nobody qualifies, there is no winner, and the prize does not roll over.
Who can take part
You must be of legal age where you live, and taking part must be lawful where you live. memeCI's owner, staff and contractors cannot win prizes.
Each person can win only one prize per competition.
The schedule
Each competition runs for seven days, followed by a 24-hour pause while results are settled and verified. The next competition then starts automatically. Competitions start and end at 00:00 UTC, and all deadlines use UTC.
You can keep using Practice to Learn during the pause, but trades made during the pause don't count toward any competition.
Joining a competition
Practice to Win uses your Practice to Learn balance. There is no separate competition balance, and your balance is not reset when a competition starts. You can start trading at any time during a competition, but you still need five sells before it ends to be eligible for the prize. The end time is the same for everyone.
Becoming prize-eligible
To be eligible for the prize, you must complete at least five sells during the current competition, before it ends. Full and partial sells both count, and separate partial sells from the same position count separately. Sells from before the competition don't count.
You must also have positive starting equity and must not reset your account during the competition.
Resetting your account
Resetting your Practice to Learn account during a competition removes you from that competition.
How the winner is chosen
The winner is the eligible trader with the highest percentage return, measured against their starting equity for that competition. An ineligible trader at the top of the leaderboard can't win. A negative return can win if it's the highest among eligible traders.
Ties are decided, in order, by: more completed competition sells, earlier qualification, earlier first competition trade, then lower account ID.
Getting paid
The winner must save a valid SOL wallet address in their account. Once the results are verified, the prize is sent as SOL, usually within 24–48 hours after the competition ends if a wallet is saved. A payment counts as paid only once it is confirmed on-chain.
If the winner doesn't save a wallet within 30 days of the competition ending, the prize passes to the next eligible trader in the final standings, who then has 30 days to claim it.
Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.
Fair play
We may disqualify any participant, and withhold or reclaim a prize, for manipulation, abuse, or anything that compromises the system. Our decision is final.
Changes to these rules
We may change, pause or end competitions or these rules. Changes will be posted on this page.
